Story of the Week - A nationwide celebration commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Interstates is about to get underway. With four major Interstates stretching throughout our state, transportation in Florida has come a long way since Eisenhower signed the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956. FBT has sent Florida transportation media members an advanced copy of the new documentary, "Roads Well Traveled: 50 Years of Florida’s Interstate System," along with a promotional brochure. This program will be airing on many public broadcasting stations beginning this week.
