November 14, 2005 - The Century Commission will hold its first meeting this week on Monday, November 14, 2005, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM, at the EpiCenter (associated with St. Petersburg College), 13805 58th Street North, Largo, Florida. Created by Florida's landmark growth management reforms passed this year, the Commission is charged with creating a vision for Florida's future over a 25-year and 50-year horizon. The 15-member Commission will provide annual recommendations to the Governor and Legislature regarding the state's growth, development policies and effective community planning.
