October 10, 2005 - Last week in Sarasota, FBT co-hosted with the Florida DOT the 2005 Environmental Management Conference -- an event designed to focus on best practices in transportation and the environment. This conference had over 430 people in attendance and more than 20 vendors. The Conference began with a Plenary Session Tuesday afternoon featuring FDOT Secretary Denver Stutler, FHWA Division Administrator David Gibbs, FDOT Assistant Secretary Ysela Llort, FDOT District Secretary Stanley Cann, and moderated by FDOT EMO (Environmental Management Office) Manager Carolyn Ismart.
