August 8, 2005 - The Florida Department of Transportation has been putting on Livable Communities Workshops at various locations across Florida this summer. Lead by Dan Burden and Billy Hattaway, these FREE workshops are open to transportation & other professionals, elected and appointed officials, and members of the public interested in learning more about transportation and achieving sustainable, livable, active communities. The three remaining workshops will take place in West Palm Beach on August 10, Ft. Lauderdale on August 11, and Miami on August 12. Here's more information.
