A Screeching Halt? - Due to a Miami federal court ruling, the supply of rock so important to meeting Florida's growing transportation needs is in serious jeopardy. A shut-down of so-called Lake Belt mining in Miami-Dade would have a disastrous effect on ALL of Florida. It would run the very real risk of bringing Florida's economy and transportation system to a screeching halt! We think Florida should "Keep On Rockin!" ... in order to keep Florida's transportation system "rollin!" That's why FBT formed the "Keep Florida Rockin!" Coalition to publicize the transportation implications of a shut-down of Lake Belt mining, and to ensure the federal court has all the necessary information to make the right decision for Florida's future.
