May 1,2006 - This week, Florida Legislators will have a chance to cast a common sense, conservative vote in FAVOR of Local "Option" Rental Car Surcharge legislation (HB 301 and SB 2632) -- without any amendments. Earlier this Legislative Session, FBT President Doug Callaway testified in support of these bills. On behalf of the 17 million current Floridians, as well as the 1,060 new residents who move here every day, FBT urges Legislators to vote FOR this reasonable, prudent, and balanced transportation funding option.
